We have a NEW meeting place and date!
We are pleased to announce that we will be meeting at Calvin Presbyterian Church, 18826 3rd Ave NW on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. We will have programs on alternate months and board meetings on the in between months. You are most welcome to join us for board meetings as we value neighbors opinions and interests. If you have ideas about what we should be doing, please let us know. We will hold neighborhood "meet-ups" June 8, Sept. 14 and Nov. 9 where we plan to have some fun and keep you posted on what is happening in Hillwood and the City. Plan on joining us.
WOWTA Backyard Habitat Tour, Sat. July 10!
Join a tour of nine private home gardens in Hillwood and Echo Lake neighborhoods. and see what is being done to encourage wildlife in our neighborhood. The homes are open from 10 to 4. Pit us maps and garden discriptions at Calvin Prespbyterian Church, 18826 3rd Ave. NW. There will be mini classes and experts in yard showing things like pollinators, mushrooms, arborists, birding and native plants. Learn to get your backyard certified as a National Wildlife Federation Backyard Wildlife Sanctuary. All the gardens on the tour are certified Backyard Wildlife Santuarys. Ice Cream Social, Aug 10
Join us for family fun with ice cream, music, and games at Hillwood Park, 19001 3rd ave. NW, Tues, August 10 fom 6:30 to 8:30. This is our fifth annual Ice Cream Social and will have a plus this year of a small car show. All local hot rods, customs and any kind of specialty cars are welcome to come.

The loss of the Shoreline Enterprise is a blow to our community. An attempt to replace it with an online newspaper that is locally produced has been started.
